Baladna - Association for Arab Youth
Is a developmental and capacity building agency for Arab-Palestinian youth in Israel. Formed in and around the cataclysmic events of October 2000, in which 13 Arab citizens of Israel, mostly youth, were killed by Israeli security forces, Baladna works to address the gaps which exist between young Arab Palestinian citizens of Israel and other youth in our society. Baladna strives to foster in Palestinian youth in Israel a strong sense of identity which spurs community engagement and inspires self-motivated social change.

Ittijah - Union of Arab Community Based Organisations and of YAP - Youth Action for Peace.
The organisation's focus on youth is fundamental to the larger movement of Palestinian activists within Israel. Working to create an organization that can answer young people's needs in both structure and content, the Association is the first place for Palestinian youth at the centre of educational and social action.
Through projects, such as the youth groups, that cement knowledge, independence and identity, Baladna seeks to empower young Palestinians; it is hoped that participants in our various programmes will take their experiences back into their own communities through projects and social and political movements of their own. Thus, ultimately leading to a stronger, more tolerant, younger generation of Palestinian youth, who will play an important role in the evolution of Palestinian and Israeli society.
